Pool Concepts built us a beautiful pool!! Dave Morgado took such great care of us. While under construction, Dave made sure our backyard was as safe as possible for our 2 young boys and even our dog. He took every measure to keep construction on schedule, never sacrificing quality. He oversaw all workers and subcontractors and kept them on schedule as well. He always called back promptly or stopped to visit if we had any questions. He is very knowledgeable of the pool business and we deferred to his opinion on several issues and have never looked back. After he built our pool, several of our friends hired Pool Concepts for their pool needs too.

I’ll save you some time researching your pools. For over a YEAR, I researched all the pool companies in Amarillo and surrounding areas. I’ve heard all the horror stories and seen some of them too. This was a lifetime investment for me so I wanted to make sure I did it right. Dave learned the trade in California where the pool inspectors are actually licensed police officers. They have the most strict inspections anywhere so the builders have to be good. When Dave first showed up at my house he says, “talk to your neighbors about me….. I re-built their pool”. The neighbors had their pool build just 3 years before mine and already had major issues and needed their pool renovated. I already knew their story but never asked who built their original pool and who did the remodel. I wanted to make my decision without outside influence. I did have plans on asking my neighbor the details after I completed my research. Here’s the kicker….. the company I had narrowed my choice down to was the company that built the neighbor’s pool….. but that was before I met Dave with Pool Concepts! Dave is a no nonsense guy. You’re going to get the best quality pool for the money you are spending. If you want to negotiate a cheaper price, you’ll need to have a smaller pool because he will not build the pool you want for a cheaper price than his original quote unless you make your pool smaller. I’ve had my pool for 3 years and have only had one issue and that was with the pool heater. A sensor went out. Luckily Dave purchases and negotiates better warranties so my heater was covered for 3 years instead of the standard 1 year. He fixed it, no problem!!! Disclosure: I only know Dave through his pool building business and receive nothing for referrals. I just want to help people avoid the mistake of hiring the wrong company.

When my wife and I decided it was time to build a pool we contacted Dave and two other builders. Dave called back right away and we had are first meeting within days. Tammi and my wife spent days looking at different pools, she always came home and told me that all the pool owners had talked very well of Dave’s work, service and repairs. If you are the man of the home and you are being asked to put in a pool. This is a huge investment and you may be getting a lot of heat from every member of the family. Well this very thing happened to me 6 years ago. With you feeling the pressure you want it done but when I ask other friends about theirs it was constantly giving them trouble and there were all sorts of problems that came with owning a pool. Even though these stories were playing over and over in my mind I was still under the gun to get one put in. As a matter of fact I even took the time to set down and personally meet with other pool companies and before we were even done with the sales pitch, I was having all sorts of alarms going off and a feeling that I was dealing with saying this is not the company for me. Now going into the 3rd Spring and zero plans set into action. I had anther one of these pool guys we had heard about that had just moved into Amarillo. As I did with all the interviews I finally made time to sit and listen to this guy Dave Morgado, after the visit not only was I now excited about the pool but I had a inner peace. He told me like it was, some of the ideas we had were even more expensive he would tell me what he would do instead and in the end my wife and the kids and yes even myself were very pleased. Dave and his wife Tammi not only did everything they said they would do but they have always been right there any time any problems would arise. This purchase may be one of those big ones that don’t come up very often, but when they do you certainly don’t want to do it alone. Dave and Tammi run their business with honesty and integrity I would recommend them to anyone who wants it done right and when it is done you will be pleased and have no regrets. We couldn’t have been more pleased with Pool Concepts. Building a pool we were sure of, but that doesn’t mean we weren’t very nervous about what that would entail. That’s where Dave came in.
